Dr Daniel Peyton is a researcher and PhD candidate at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and the University of Melbourne.
Current research
Having commenced his PhD in 2019, he is co-designing, developing and trialling an online parenting platform to link parents of children with behavioural and emotional problems to community services or evidence-based online interventions.
Within this project, he will conduct a systematic review, qualitative research, participatory design and a randomised controlled trial with quantitative data analysis.

Funding
In 2019, he was awarded a National Health and Medical Research Council postgraduate scholarship. He was also awarded a Barwon Health Foundation Future Fund research scholarship in 2018.
For his project, Towards equitable access for child mental healthcare: a co-designed digital health intervention, he has received generous funding from Charity Drive Days and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute Population Health Theme Funding.
